Hey Everyone! Meet Nick. I took his big sister's senior photos a couple years ago, and now it's his turn. Sweet guy!

Amber and Tim

We recently photographed a wedding which took place in the beautiful Delavan Arboretum. The reception was held on Lake Geneva. What a gorgeous event! Hawaiian influences were seen throughout...from the quaint ukelele playing before and during the cermony, to the leis exchanged by the beautiful bride and groom.

The tables at the reception were each adorned with huge vases filled with white flowers, and bottles of wine labeled with words of love, hope and faith, and charming quotes on the reverse.

The bride and groom were truly a joy to work with...some of the nicest people I've met.

Here are some pictures from a session I did with Levi. He's an amazing kid from Northern Wisconsin. We had such a fun time! And of course, we bonded over hunting!

New Las Vegas Experience Books

I'm so excited! It's like Christmas everytime UPS comes from Burrell! We got our new Las Vegas Experience books - Death Valley and The Strip! These books were created from the class that I taught in Las Vegas (Death Valley) 3 days prior to WPPI in 2009. For those of you who don't know, an Experience is a 3-5 day workshop that is totally hands-on! In the class, we provide the models, the location, and it is structured so that after a pose is displayed, the students get to work with the pose, picking their location and re-enacting it, taking into consideration lighting and all other photographic aspects with the models.

In these 2 books, we spent one day on The Strip and 2 days in Death Valley and Rhyolite and the surrounding areas between these 2 locations. Here is the cover and a few choice photos out of the hundreds taken during the class.

The Crown Point Experience

Yesterday was such a wonderful day! It started with a limo ride to Crown Point, Indiana where I and a few others got to tour Burrell Colour Imaging, our lab. What a wonderful experience it was! The people were so friendly and so very helpful! The hospitality that was extended was absolutely amazing! I learned so much about how things are run at the lab, and how my orders are processed, and with such great personal attention. How fun! Several ideas were also exchanged, which is always a great thing to do. Getting out of the studio and seeing all the fun new things available really got the creative juices flowing. Can't wait to get back and put it all into action!
